Huawei TE10 brings HD
video to Huddle-Rooms, open workspaces, mobile and cloud
Founding members of
the Cloud Enterprise Communications Alliance celebrate at HUAWEI CONNECT 2016
in Shanghai.
(Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Center, September
1, 2016) Highlights of the Cloud Enterprise Communications session at HUAWEI
CONNECT 2016 included the introduction of the Huawei TE10 Huddle-Room Cloud
Video Endpoint and the new Cloud Enterprise Communications Alliance. The
session also brought together over 300 experts and partners to discuss how
enterprise communications can drive business agility and innovation in the
cloud era.
The TE10, a major innovation in video conferencing, will
enable small project teams and the general public to collaborate in small rooms
over high-quality video. The TE10 is the first in the industry to incorporate
six components into one endpoint and can be installed in about one minute.
The Cloud Enterprise Communications Alliance will help
members migrate converged platforms to the cloud and extend applications from the
office to production, according to Ma Haixu, President of Huawei Cloud Core
Network Product Line.
“To meet those goals, we need to strengthen
technological advantages and platforms,” Ma said. “We also need to build a
cloud alliance ecosystem with partners determined to build more open architectures.”
“The cooperation between Intel and Huawei will
accelerate Big Video innovation,” added Wang Rui, Intel’s Vice President of
Sales and Marketing. “It will help us build a win-win ecosystem with partners
and promote industry development in a rapid and healthy way.”
Wu Zhenhua, Director of Global Business Development,
Strategy and Business Development, Huawei Cloud Core Network Product Line, told
the gathering that, in the next five years, Huawei will invest US $50 million to cultivate 40 vertical
industry solutions and 300 partners. He said Huawei expects that partners will
double their revenues during that time.
“We also will develop 2,000 alliance members to build
an enterprise-class audio and video ecosystem for a win-win future,” Wu said.
Industry experts share insights:

traditional networks to the cloud, they should do the following:
- Plan cloud transformation
- Create seamless and consistent customer experiences across multiple channels
- Provide open APIs to maximize the value of cloud communication
- Improve video conference experience in huddle rooms, extending HD video to wider workspaces and the public
Jason Yuan, Vice
President, Huawei Cloud Core Network Product Line:
A one-stop Cloud Enterprise Communication platform will
enable profitable converged communications solutions for many industries. This
solution will feature a future-oriented platform that provides cloud,
convergence, and openness and will offer a win-win solution to partner
companies.
Liu Chang, Manager of
Cloud Videoconferencing Business Center, Enterprise & Government Sector,
