Huawei and 20 Global Partners Announce MBB Interconnect Open Industry Alliance

[Shanghai, China, September 1, 2016] MBB Interconnect Open Industry Alliance spearheaded by Huawei was announced at HUAWEI CONNECT 2016 held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The MBB Interconnect Open Industry Alliance is supported by Huawei and about 20 partners, including China Mobile Jiangsu Branch, Intel, iQIYI.COM, and iSoftStone.

At the opening ceremony, executive of Huawei Packet Core Network Product Line of CCN, Shi Jilin, said "In a new era of infinite industry development, we jointly face new opportunities and challenges." She shared the best practices of Huawei in MBB interconnect and open in the past year. Through the announcement, she expected to cooperate with mobile operators, OTT service providers, and industry partners to achieve a win-win outcome, ultimately realizing "more delicate life experience, more reliable business environment, and more diversified industry innovation."
